Privacy Policy
DraftMyBill · nRich IT Consulting Services
This Privacy Policy describes how nRich IT Consulting Services (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the DraftMyBill application (“DraftMyBill” or the “Application”).
DraftMyBill is an independent software tool for preparing and verifying pay and related bills (including salary, arrear, allowance, and surrender leave bills) and for viewing reference materials such as government orders, circular memos, manuals, and application forms. It is not an official government portal.
By creating an account or using DraftMyBill, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.
1. Information collected during registration
When you register for DraftMyBill, we collect:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- A password you create
- Confirmation that you accepted the Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, acknowledged the Disclaimer / Non-Affiliation notice, and the time of that acceptance
Registration is phone-based. An email address is not required to create an account. You may add or update an email later in My Profile.
We may send a one-time verification code (OTP) to your mobile number to confirm that you control that number during registration or password recovery.
2. Account information
After registration, DraftMyBill stores profile details needed to sign you in and operate your account (such as name, phone number, email if you later provide one, and role). Authentication session information may be used so you can remain signed in securely.
Account information is stored separately from bill-related information. Account details are kept to maintain your login and account. They are not the same as the generated bills and bill inputs described in the Data storage and data retention section.
3. Information entered while preparing bills
When you prepare bills in DraftMyBill, you may enter employment, pay, leave, deduction, allowance, travel, and other bill-related details for calculation, preview, and document generation.
When you generate a bill, DraftMyBill may store that generated bill and related bill calculation and input information in your My Bills history so you can open, download, or continue working with it later.
Unfinished bill work may also be saved temporarily in your browser (for example, as a draft) so you can continue later on the same device. Sticky notes you create are stored on your device and are not stored on our servers.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. Do not enter information you are not authorized to process.
4. Other information you may provide
Depending on the features you use, DraftMyBill may also store:
- Support requests you submit (such as your name, contact details, and the description of the issue)
- Questions and answers you post in Q/A
- Profile updates you make in My Profile, including email or phone changes
Government orders, circular memos, manuals, and application forms published in the Application are reference materials, not your personal bill history.
5. How information is used
We use information to:
- Create and manage your DraftMyBill account
- Authenticate you and protect account security
- Provide bill preparation, calculation, preview, and document features
- Store generated bills in your My Bills history until you delete them
- Provide reference materials, Q/A, help, and support
- Respond to support requests you send us
- Maintain, improve, and secure the Application
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
6. Data storage and data retention
DraftMyBill stores account information and, separately, bill-related information as described below.
Account information. DraftMyBill stores the account information described in sections 1 and 2 so we can create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and provide the Application. Account information is retained while your account remains active.
Bill-related information. DraftMyBill may store generated bills and related bill calculation and input information in the user's My Bills history. This may include the generated bill document (such as a PDF) together with the bill inputs and calculation results used to produce it.
- Stored bills and related bill data are retained until the user deletes them.
- Users can delete their stored bills from My Bills.
- When a user deletes a bill, the associated stored bill document and related bill data are also deleted. Deleting a bill does not delete the user's account or other stored bills.
DraftMyBill does not automatically delete stored bills after a set period, because My Bills is an intentional history feature.
Support tickets and Q/A posts are retained so we can operate those features and respond to you. Browser drafts and sticky notes remain on your device until you clear them or your browser data.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information while it is processed in the Application, including authenticated access controls. You can view and delete only bills stored under your own account. No method of transmission is completely secure; you should keep your password confidential and sign out on shared devices.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate DraftMyBill (for example, with infrastructure, database, email, or SMS providers that process data on our behalf), to respond to lawful requests, or with your direction.
9. Third-party services
DraftMyBill may rely on third-party services for hosting, databases, email or SMS delivery, human verification, analytics, or similar operational needs. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
10. Cookies, sessions, and analytics
DraftMyBill may use cookies or similar technologies, including session cookies, to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support security (including human verification), and measure Application performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect sign-in or other features.
DraftMyBill may use analytics tools to understand how the Application is used, such as which pages are visited. This helps us maintain and improve the service.
11. User rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or information about personal data associated with your account by contacting us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can update some account details in My Profile and Change Password. You can delete stored bills from My Bills.
12. Account and data deletion
You can delete individual stored bills from My Bills. When you delete a bill, the associated stored bill document and related bill data are also deleted. Deleting a bill does not delete your account.
If you want your account deleted or want guidance on data associated with your account, contact us at info@draftmybill.com. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page. Continued use of DraftMyBill after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
